3rd Shift - Maintenance Electrician

Full Time: Overnight (11:00 pm – 7:30 am)

Essential Job Responsibilities:

-Support process efficiency through completing the following:
-Ensure vacuums and extruders are running
-Ovens, inline, chiller, cooling tower is working properly
-Any repairs or issues with lighting, heaters on extruders, cords, cooling fans are addressed.
-Conduits are repaired and installed as needed
-Troubleshooting A/C issues, repairing if possible
-Checking oven amp readings and fuses on inline during mold changes
-Ensure the integrity by incorporating and complying with applicable standards and specifications and ensuring machinery is operating efficiently, effectively and safely
-Foster interdepartmental communication and collaborations through open dialogue and addressing electrical and mechanical issues and repairs as requested.
-Other duties and assignments as required

Experience:
-4-6 years of relevant experience required
-6-10 years of relevant experience preferred

Qualifications:
-Additional Information:
-High School Diploma/GED required
-Journeyman Electrician license preferred
-PLC certification preferred
-Physical Requirement: Demanding. Must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Employee must be able to sit, climb or balance, hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, talk, and reach with hands and arms.

Working Conditions: Duties are performed in a manufacturing plant environment: can be high heat, high humidity, exposure to electrical shock and mechanical parts, exposure to potential toxic or caustic chemicals with fumes and/or airborne particles.

Overtime: Required as needed.

Salary: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
